Weekly Update June 19-23

This weekly update will help to keep you informed about PTA activities and volunteer opportunities.

1- We have several PTA Leadership Team members who are moving with their kids to middle school or are moving to the PTA Executive Board so we are looking for some new committee chairs/co-chairs.  Please consider working with: Cultural Arts, Newsletter, Reflections or Nominations.  No experience necessary.  Several of these can be done 95-100% at home.  Contact Megan Dezendorf (mdezendorf@gmail.com) if you are interested or would like some more information.

2- We have just a few yearbooks from this school year left for $20 and we have a few books left from last year that we are selling for just $5.  If you would like to purchase a book, please contact Jess Wolfram (adamsyrbook@gmail.com).

3- If you have any Labels for Education (found on Campbell's products) please send those in before the end of the school year.  This program is ending and we would like to submit all remaining labels at the end of June.  We will still continue to collect Box Tops for Education, Tyson A+ Labels and My Coke Rewards during the next school year.

Volunteer Opportunities:

1- The Co-Pilots (our PTA group for Dads & Dudes in the lives of Adams students) invite you to participate in Carpool Friday.  Men, if you have time on Friday morning (8:40-9:15am), join them to help get the students out of the cars and keep the carpool line moving.  http://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090f4da5aa2caa8-copilots Approved WCPSS Volunteers Only.

3- The 5th Grade Recognition Celebration for Tracks 2 & 3 will take place on Thursday, June 29.  If you can help to set up or serve cake and lemonade at the celebration, please contact Megan Dezendorf (mdezendorf@gmail.com).
